Hi

All sims are the same
its down to provisioning info thats programmed in them by the network operator that is using them.
The network sim can be provisioned in 2 ways
1 is to Voice + Data
2 is Data Only

So for users who use already have sims will posses the ones that are voice and data enabled by the network or service provider.
Other types of users who obtain network simcards that come in side USB Modem/MIFi have network simcard that come with them that are only Data enabled.

Hi,

From what I've read so far, the only difference between a regular GSM (Mini) SIM and a 3FF MicroSIM is the size and, supposedly, the content in both cases is exactly the same. However, I'm a little confused about the part where you discuss the two types of SIMs, Voice & Data and Data only. From what I understand, this classification is done by the network operator in order to determine what set of services to provide and the SIMs are essentially the same otherwise, yet from this article, I seem to understand that the SIMs are different altogether. Kindly help clear out this ambiguity. Furthermore, if both SIMs are actually different, then can you please elaborate upon this difference.

Thanks.
